LOL I just started reading the books and I have to say that Nate in the books kind of irritates me for that very reason, he just cannot get it right. I think that's why I cling to Nate in the show so much he's not quite as pathetic and useless.

I know right, it got to the point where I couldn't imagine why Blair was still with him.

I did ship NB in the books though... I didn't like the way Serena was portrayed in the books... too much like an airhead.

Yea I like S in the show much better then in the books. The only person I really like in the books is Blair, and Dan, and Vanessa is cool too shaven head and all. LOL But I am so glad that they don't portray Chuck in the show the same as Chuck in the books. OMG he is so irritating and gross, and GAY!!! AHHHH!

Blair in both the show and books. Its weird because she comes across as such a bitch, yet i love her! I think its cos we get to see her vulnerable side too which makes her relatable.

Yea I think that's very true, we do see a vulnerable side to her which makes her a lot more able to like. Besides she's only a bitch when necessary!! lol

I only watch the show and I'm definitely not reading the books because it'll ruin the show for me.
I'm split between Serena and Blair. Blair cause she just generally owns, everyone.
Serena cause we can all relate to her character. She's not perfect and she's made tons of mistakes yet she picks herself up and trys again. A hopeless romantic and isn't the high & mighty princess type that everyone thinks she is. I relate to her to the most thats why I love S.
Yet B still owns everyone so I still love her too. LOL.
The guys, like, them all. LMAO. They each are amazing characters and they all add something to the plot. Chuck Bass = Blair Waldorf, only male. Dan is like a male Serena, and Nate it just fun to watch because his storyline is the most messed up. LMAO.

Lol Tyler. The books won't spoil the show for you bc they're like two different things. Josh and the writers went on their own for the show. But then again, if you read the books you'll have expectations for when familiar characters come onto the show. For example: Everyone here knows how much I support shaving Vanessa's hair off. Pwuahahaha. The books are good though, but the characters are a bit different from the show.

I don't have the books or read them, but from the TV show, I'm loving myself some Serena!
